Bachelor’s Amanda Stanton "Ashamed" Over Arrest: Read Her Statement

Amanda Stanton is breaking her silence. The Bachelor alum and mom of two has released a statement following her recent Las Vegas arrest.

As previously reported, the BIP alum was arrested over the weekend in Las Vegas for domestic battery after she shoved her boyfriend, Bobby Jacobs, in front of a hotel security guard following a noise complaint. The couple were in Vegas for a co-ed bachelor party, along with pals including Lauren Bushnell

The former Bachelor contestant's rep Steve Honig, told E! News in a statement, "Amanda is embarrassed and ashamed this happened and sincerely apologizes to hotel security and the Las Vegas Police Department. Amanda is a gentle, respectful person who has never gotten physical with anyone under any circumstance."

"That evening she had a few drinks at a bachelorette party and when hotel security asked her and Bobby to quiet down, she got a bit rambunctious,” he continued. “Amanda gave Bobby what she thought was a playful shove; hotel security did their job and reported the incident to the police, who in turn did their job."

Her rep added that even though her boyfriend assured the police it "was not an ill-intended shove, the police still had to do their job which Amanda completely respects and understands."

TMZ was first to report the news, revealing that the 28-year-old mom of two was arrested on Monday, September 10, after hotel security and police responded to the scene at approximately 3:15 a.m. because of a noise complaint.

Amanda, who was on Ben Higgins’ season of The Bachelor, appeared on season 3 of Bachelor In Paradise and was previously engaged to Josh Murray.
