Bebe Rexha Remixes 'Pomp & Circumstance' for Grads Titled 'Here’s to 2020'

Leave it to Bebe Rexha to turn graduation march “Pomp and Circumstance” into an absolute banger the class of 2020 deserves. The songstress phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, May 29, and shared she recorded the track in just one day.

“Walgreens hit me up and they were like we want to do a song — we want to remake ‘Pomp and Circumstance’ and I was like, ‘Oh my God! I would love to, especially for all the graduates.’ And they’re like, ‘Yeah, but you have a day,’” she recalled to Seacrest. “I was like, ‘A day?!”

Bebe pulled it off though and it’s the upbeat song the class of 2020 deserves amid the global Coronavirus pandemic taking away their graduation ceremonies and parties.

“It’s really cool that we gave the graduates a song they can make their own,” Bebe added. “No other class will have a 2020 song.”

Bebe’s also used the time during quarantine to finalize her upcoming album. Watch back the interview above to get all the details — including her pancake recipe! — and stream or send “Here’s to 2020” to a deserving graduate you know now!
