Now that he’s safely off the hill, we can’t stop LOLing. Jamie Foxx and his daughter Corinne Foxx phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, May 14, and the Oscar-winner hilariously recalled his disastrous experience learning how to ski 😂
“They had me doing the pizza,” Jamie explained. “… The pizza only works if you’re going two feet and that’s the way you stop, but I’m coming down this — they put me on this, some people say black diamond, I say ‘African American diamond’ — but I’m going 1,000 miles per hour about to run over all these people so that pizza didn’t work," he hilariously continued. "So finally I just started acting like I knew how to ski. You know, I’m athletic, and then finally it all kicked in, but the only thing that messed me up was that ski lift.”
The ski lift is notoriously hard for first-time skiers and we couldn’t feel for him more when Jamie added that onlookers were documenting his attempts for their IG story.
“The dude is telling me to hold my tips up … and then not only that, but people knew I was on the mountain so people had their cameras at the bottom of the ski lift waiting on me and you know I sucked,” he concluded. “The skis came off; I rolled and landed at someone’s feet and they were Snapchatting and Instagramming and Myspacing —it was embarrassing.”
Daring new adventures aside, the actor is teaming up with his daughter Corinne for another season of Beat Shazam and couldn’t be more proud of the 25-year-old, who is following in his acting footsteps!
