Just in time for Christmas! Justin Bieber took to Instagram on Thursday, November 29, to dispel the rumors he’s taking a break from music.
As previously reported, People magazine reported that the Biebs was focusing on himself and his life as a newlywed, putting music on the back burner.
“He is in love with Hailey. She encourages him to do whatever he wants to do, and is encouraging him in this season of self-discovery,” the magazine wrote at the time, reporting that Bieber was scaling back on work commitments.
Bieber, however, says that’s not the truth.
Alongside a video of an adorable toddler complaining that Bieber is retiring from music he wrote: “Don’t believe everything you read sweet little girl you will hear something from me sooner than you think.”
His manager Scooter Braun also weighed in on the post, commenting with a giant smiley face while wife Hailey Bieber wrote “Oh my goodness 😍😍😍😍.”
Bieber most recently collaborated with DJ Khaled, Chance the Rapper and Quavo for “No Brainer.” His last studio album, Purpose, dropped in 2015.
