Ryan Surprises Tanya With World Premiere of Her Song "Just Like That"

We can’t breathe. Ryan Seacrest hilariously surprised Tanya Rad with the world premiere of her breakup song “Just Like That” and played it live on-air on Wednesday, October 17. 

In case you missed it, Tanya Rad uncovered a breakup song she penned six years ago following a devastating split while moving last weekend. 

“So one of the songs I listened to after my breakup was a song by Demi Lovato [called ‘In Case’] and I would listen to that song on repeat, on repeat, on repeat and just cry,” Tanya previously explained of her debut single. “So this song I wrote, it’s kind of in the same melody so I wrote down lyrics.”

The song includes lyrics like “Cant even put into words how much I loved you” and “I always thought you felt the same” and “Who knew that phone call would end like that?” And “who knew that kiss would be our last?”

Because it's too emotional for Tanya, Sisanie and Ryan did a dramatic reading of the song on-air instead and now we have a serious gem.

“Lo and behold, I don’t know if it was Benny Blanco or Timbaland or who it was, but an anonymous producer has sent us a track,” Ryan shared on-air on Wednesday, before releasing the breakup anthem to the world
