Meghan Markle Sends Twitter Into Frenzy Over “Wardrobe Malfunction”

Meghan Markle sent Twitter into a frenzy after she stepped out in a black pleated dress for a friend’s wedding on Saturday, August 4. The Duchess of Sussex was labeled having a “wardrobe malfunction” after a glimpse of her lace black bra could be seen peeping out from her color-block pleated Club Monaco shirtdress.

“Meghan at a wedding: black dress, waving at the cameras, with her bra showing. I thought Meghan was supposed to be smart??” one user on Twitter wrote, calling out the royal’s ensemble choice. “Meghan stole the show with her deliberate wardrobe malfunction,” another wrote, while a third added: “WHO wears black to a wedding with her top buttons undone showing a racy bra? Narcissist attention seeking #MeghanMarkle she just can’t stop herself can she?”

The alleged “wardrobe malfunction” didn’t seem to phase the Duchess, who was all smiles as she made her way into the wedding of husband Prince Harry’s longtime pal, Charlie van Straubenzee to Daisy Jenks.

“Happy Birthday to HRH The Duchess of Sussex! #HappyBirthdayHRH,” the royal family tweeted via their official Twitter on Saturday, making sure to wish the former Suits actress a happy birthday.

Last year, Prince Harry whisked his now-wife to Botswana for a birthday safari trip prior to their engagement.

This isn’t the first time that people have overanalyzed Markle’s style. She was previously criticized for showing too much skin at Queen Elizabeth’s birthday parade in June, where she wore an off-the shoulder Carolina Herrera dress.

The Queen clearly approves of Markle though. Via the royal family's official Instagram page, she approved a heartfelt message to honor Markle's 37th birthday, along with a sweet photo of the pair laughing during their first official event together in Chester.
