Selena Gomez and David Henrie Reunite on Fourth of July: Pics

Reunited and it feels so good! Selena Gomez celebrated the Fourth of July with her Wizards of Waverly Place costar David Henrie. The besties celebrated America’s day at the happiest place on earth, Disneyland!

"Hope everyone had a great 4th of July!" the "Wolves" singer wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of her and Henrie. "Spent mine with some of my favorite people @disney."

In Disney fan-favorite Wizards of Waverly Place, Gomez played Alex Russo and Henrie played her brother, Justin Russo.

The songstress captioned another shot of herself eating popcorn with her pal, "Brudder & sissy" and another "family vacation vibes."

The pair have remained friends since the show ended in 2012, with Gomez even attending Henrie's wedding to former Miss Delaware Maria Cahill in April 2017.

The hit Disney series helped Gomez turn her career from an actress/singer to an executive producer. During an interview with the New York Times last year, Gomez shared how growing up on the Disney Channel inspired her to turn YA novel 13 Reasons Why into the hit Netflix series it is now.

“I think [author Jay Asher] understood that I knew what it meant to be bullied. I went to the biggest high school in the world, which is the Disney Channel,” she said at the time. “And my mom had a lot of history dealing with [bullying]. I heard her stories growing up. She’s very open about it.”

“When I was on Wizards of Waverly Place, we didn’t have social media really,” she added. “Twitter had just begun. Every Friday, I’d get to do a live taping in front of all these little kids and make their life. That’s when I was the happiest. Then, as I got older, I watched it go from zero to a hundred. So I’m actually glad it took us this long to create this project because it’s so relevant now.”
