Selena Gomez looked ethereal at the 2018 Met Gala on Monday, May 7. The “Wolves” singer, who is an ambassador for Coach, looked angelic in a white flowy sheer Coach gown which was perfectly on theme for this year’s Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.
Gomez carried with her a Kisslock Frame bag which read "A woman who fears the lord is a woman who shall be praised."
Once inside the annual event held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Gomez bonded and took selfies with pals including Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner.
Last year Gomez attended the bash with now ex-boyfriend The Weeknd. The songstress and The Weeknd called it quits in October 2017 after almost a year together. On the heels of their split, Gomez reunited with on-again, off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Their split also came after Selena underwent emergency kidney transplant surgery earlier in 2017. In The Weeknd’s My Dear Melancholy track "Call Out My Name," he seemingly hints that he almost gave Gomez one of his kidneys.
“We found each other / I helped you out of a broken place / You gave me comfort / But falling for you was my mistake,” he sings in the track. “I said I didn’t feel nothing baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life.”
