BTS dropped a surprise 9-minute long visual video on Thursday, April 5, called Euphoria: Theme of Love Yourself: Wonder.
The video, directed by YongSeok Choi, comes on the heels of the release of their third Japanese album, Face Yourself.
During an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest in November, the group — which consists of Rap Monster (known as RM), Jungkook, Jimin, V, Suga, Jin and J-Hope — shared they hope to use their music to help address social issues.
"Everyone in the world has been lonely and everyone [has been] sad, so we hope we can create an environment where people can ask for help and say things are hard when they're hard and say that we miss someone when we miss them,” they told Billboard in a separate interview as well.
“Every day is stressful for our generation,” RM added at the time. “It's hard to get a job, it's harder to attend college now more than ever... Adults need to create policies that can facilitate that overall social change.”
