Justin Timberlake was reunited with almost all of his *NSYNC bandmates during his recent concert in Thousand Palms, California, and had a hilarious reaction to spotting them in the crowd.

On social media, the band's Lance Bass shared a carousel of videos and photos from his night at Timberlake's concert, alongside JC Chasez and Chris KirkpatrickJoey Fatone was notably missing, but only because he is performing in Broadway's & Juliet. He captioned the post, "In honor of Joey’s Broadway debut tonight, we had a date night without him."

One of the videos shows Timberlake on stage as he told the crowd, "Much to my surprise, [it’s] a very special night tonight. They were smart and left Joey at home," and then pointed out his bandmates, adding, "I love you guys. And the biggest round of applause, 'cause we got JC out the house, baby!"

And in another video shared to Bass' Instagram stories, Justin gives a surprised look into the audience, looking at his former *NSYNC cohorts, and questioned why they didn't text him before showing up. Lance added in another slide, "On second thought. Maybe we should have texted Justin before we showed up."

It's no secret that *NSYNC fans have been demanding a reunion, and the guys have come together occasionally on a few different projects, including an appearance on Timberlake's latest album Everything I Thought It Was on his song "Paradise" and their Trolls Band Together song "Better Place," among other appearances. But, fans have been hoping for a more solid reunion, especially with the 25th anniversary of their hit album No Strings Attached coming up this year.

Fatone recently commented on the reunion talk, telling the New York Post, "We have to have a conversation. That’s really what it boils down to. And we’re gonna hopefully do that soon. We keep saying 'soon,' but it's getting where it’s like either s*** or get off the pot. Let's be real."

Joey added of the No Strings Attached anniversary that it's time for "that moment of the five of us sitting down going, 'OK, what does this look like? Do we want to do a tour? Is it just a tour? Is it an album? Is it an EP? Are we not going to do anything? Like, what exactly are we going to do?'"
