Amid the news of her split with now ex-husband Eric Johnson after ten years of marriage, Jessica Simpson reportedly has already recorded a "heartbreak album," according to a report from DailyMail.com.

The site notes that Simpson moved to Nashville, Tennessee to "reconnect with her country music 'roots,'" where she's been working on a new album — many of the songs having to do with heartbreak. A source tells DailyMail.com,

It will be about her broken heart, so, yeah, I guess you can call it a revenge, a heartbreak album." They added, "When Jessica writes music, she pours her heart into it and has no filter, it's very personal. So the album will really be about the struggles she has been through at home. It is super emotional and shares her side of the story. She has been working on the album for years, there is a lot in there."

Simpson shared the news of her breakup in a statement to Us Weekly, explaining that she and Johnson have been living "separately" while navigating a "painful situation." She said, "Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage. Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family."

Jessica first sparked rumors that her marriage was in trouble as she shared several photos to her Instagram from a Nashville studio, teasing that she had new music on the way. She wrote very cryptically, "Interviews in my Nashville music room where I unearthed my singular magic. This comeback is personal, it’s an apology to myself for putting up with everything I did not deserve."
