JAY-Z and Beyoncé got an apology from Piers Morgan after the TV host aired an interview with Jaguar Wright that was full of baseless claims about them.

On Wednesday, October 9, the host of "Piers Morgan Uncensored" issued a formal apology to The Carters after the superstar couple's attorneys requested him to cut Wright's false comments from his recent segment in which they discussed Sean "Diddy" Combs' criminal case.

"Jaguar, unexpectedly, made several serious allegations about JAY-Z and Beyoncé during that interview," he continued. "As I said in the moment, they were not present to respond or defend themselves, but now they have."

"We had lawyers contact us to say that those claims were totally false and have no basis in fact, and we’ve therefore complied with a legal request to cut them from the original interview," he continued.

The interview in question happened last week. During a discussion about the sex trafficking case against Combs, Wright went off on a tangent and accused JAY-Z of being a "monster." She also named several people in the music mogul's circle who allegedly had one person in common: Shawn Carter.

“For four years I’ve been screaming not just Diddy, but Diddy and JAY-Z are monsters,” Wright said.

Wright has made headlines in recent weeks for her outlandish allegations against Combs and others in the music industry. She previously accused Combs of being involved in the deaths of Kim Porter, Andre Harrell and Heavy D.
