Usher is entering a new phase in parenthood.
E! News recently learned that the pop star and his music executive girlfriend Jenn Goicoechea are expecting their first child together. Meanwhile, Us Weekly, reported that the couple is "thrilled and very excited" about the upcoming chapter in their coupling. News of the pair's expecting child arrives just before their one-year anniversary as they were first photographed together at a concert in October 2019. The two were just spotted on a production studio in Los Angeles on Monday with Goicoechea’s baby bump on display.
Usher already has two children, Usher Jr. and Naviyd, whom the chart-topper shares with his ex-wife, Tameka Foster. The two married in 2007, before divorcing in 2009. They have seemingly have appeared on good terms for their children. Afterward, Usher married Grace Miguel, but the couple came to amicable end in 2018.
"After much thought and consideration we have mutually decided to separate as a couple," the pair said in a joint statement. "We remain deeply connected, loving friends who will continue supporting each other through the next phases of our lives. The enormous amount of love and respect that we have for each other will only increase as we move forward."
