Following the success of his Miami set, David Guetta is marching forward with a New York installment of his "United At Home" charity livestream to raise funds amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
On Wednesday (May 20), it was announced that the EDM heavyweight will host a livestream performance from an undisclosed iconic New York City location, one that will be unveiled during his set. The performance, which will take place May 30 after New York's "daily clap" for the frontline and healthcare workers at 7 p.m. EST, will be produced by the Charity Guys. Meanwhile, funds for the set will benefit Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, Feeding America, the World Health Organization and Fondation Hôpitaux de Paris.
Additional, the stream will feature appearances from City First Responders, as well as other special guest stars, and can be viewed via Guetta's social platforms, including his Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, VK and Tik Tok accounts.
"I'm excited to announce I will host another livestream to raise money for charity and help battle the virus," Guetta said in a statement. "New York is one of my favorite cities and it’s an honor to be able to do something to help the city during this difficult time. We’re planning something special that can be enjoyed from homes around the world. As a DJ, the crowd is the most important part of any show and even though we can’t be together in a club or at a festival, we can use this time to come together in new ways and help those who need it most."
