Aretha Franklin's funeral takes place this Friday (August 31), where the legendary songbird will be laid to rest in her hometown of Detroit, Michigan.

The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. ET at Greater Grace Temple and will honor the Queen of Soul, who died August 16 due to pancreatic cancer. She was 76.

More than 19 musicians have been announced to do the honors of celebrating Franklin's memory in song at the event, among them include Ariana Grande, Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan, Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, The Clark Sisters, Jennifer Holliday, Marvin Sapp, Jennifer Hudson, and Fantasia.

A tribute concert for the departed legend has been scheduled for Thursday night (August 30), where Gladys Knight, The Four Tops and more will perform at 4 p.m. ET at New Bethel Baptist Church.

After her homegoing, the "Natural Woman" icon will be buried at Detroit's Woodlawn Cemetary.

Though the commemoration is restricted to those who have received invitations, many networks will be live-streaming the seven-hour sendoff for viewers to watch from afar.

The Word Network will air the service starting at 10 a.m. via television and live-stream on their website. (Detroit-based audiences can watch on Channel 2, Channel 4 and Channel 7.)

Detroit’s Local 4 will follow the function live on-air beginning at 9 a.m. It will also be live-streamed on ClickOnDetroit.com. The Detroit News will provide coverage for the event via social media.

The Associated Press will broadcast the service online in its entirety.

CNN and Fox News will air portions of the event nationally.
