Apparently, the latest dating trend is something called a “practice date,” where people are going out with someone they’re not necessarily super interested in just to get more comfortable with dating.
The idea is to take the pressure off, work on conversation skills, and build confidence without feeling like every first date has to lead to something serious.
Some people say it’s actually helping them avoid dating burnout and stop putting so much pressure on finding "the one" right away.
I’m curious if our single co-workers would ever do this?
Dating experts say there can be benefits, as long as everyone is being honest and respectful. And who knows?
Sometimes the person you thought was just practice ends up surprising you.
