The 2026 World Cup is coming to American next year…and FIFA needs 65,000 volunteers including right here in L.A. at SoFi Stadium!
Sofi is hosting eight matches and they’re looking for people to help with everything from welcoming fans to assisting teams and media.
The best part? It’s totally free to sign up, and even though you don’t get paid, you get some cool perks—like an official uniform, meals during your shifts and yes… the chance to watch games at SoFi for free.
All you have to do is go to fifaworldcup.com/volunteers and apparently if you speak Spanish or any other language it’s a major bonus. Applications are open now, and if you get picked, you’ll do tryouts in October and then start training in March.
Honestly, it sounds like the ultimate once-in-a-lifetime experience—helping at SoFi, soaking in the atmosphere, and basically being part of World Cup history without paying a dime.
I feel like this is only the beginning and I imagine there will be similar opportunities for the Olympics in 2028!
