Have you heard about this "Airport Theory" thing on TikTok?
Airport Theory suggests travelers can show up to the airport 15–20 minutes before their flight… and have enough time to clear security and board the plane. The goal is to limit the time spent waiting in the airport, streamline the experience and maximize efficiency.
Some dude even did it at Atlanta’s crazy-busy airport, but honestly, a ton of people are just missing their flights left and right.
It sounds kind of thrilling, but also like… a terrible idea?
I don’t know about you, but there is no way I could pull that off — I’d be freaking out the whole time.
I already get stressed if I’m not at the gate early with a coffee in hand.
Experts are saying it’s super risky, especially if you’re traveling with kids.
I’m 100% sticking with the boring but safe plan: getting there two hours early and not living on the edge. I still like to go to the gate just to make sure it hasn’t changed…and then hit the bathroom…get food etc! Call me old school but I’m skipping this trend!
