Do you know what “hey-hanging” is?
Chances are you’ve been a victim of it or worse… you ARE a “hey-hanger”!!!!
It’s when someone messages you something along the lines of “hey – call me” with no further details.
My absolute biggest pet-peeve is someone texting me just “hey” and nothing else.
It’s the leaving me hanging after reaching out that really drives me nuts and apparently, I’m not alone…It’s putting undue stress on many workers, especially Gen Z.
To me, it’s nothing more than another annoying notification that goes off with no actual info to follow…I simply just ignore them at this point.
Do you want me to text you back “hey?”
