While this year has been, unexpected for all of us, to say the least, there has been something unexpected other than the coronavirus pandemic... and it's SO many celebrity babies and pregnancy announcements that it's hard to keep up!
Since there have been *so* many pregnancy and birth announcements - especially, it feels like, over the last week! - I'm going to try and round up as many of them as I can for you.
We know that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed baby girl, Daisey Dove Bloom at the end of August (the same week that Katy released her latest album, OK MAMA WE SEE YOU!)
We also recently heard the news that Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik welcomed a baby girl, which they announced last week. They have yet to reveal her name but shared a sweet photo announcing her arrival.
Twins Brie and Nikki Bella also BOTH welcomed baby boys, and in true twin fashion, they did so only one day apart! Nikki and her fiance Artem Chigvintsev welcomed their first child, a son on July 31st, while Brie and her husband Daniel Bryan welcomed their son, their second child, on August 1st. The twins obviously have been spending lots of time together and sharing the cutest photos of their boys:
Adam Brody and Leighton Meester quietly welcomed their second child together over the last few months as well. They famously keep their personal lives private, but we do know they welcomed a daughter named Arlo in 2015, and Adam confirmed on a Twitch stream that they now have a son as well.
Lea Michele and her husband Zandy Reich also welcomed a son in August.
Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger welcomed their daughter, Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt in August, as well.
Plus, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend announced they are pregnant with their their child - who Chrissy later accidentally confirmed was a boy on Instagram stories - in John's latest music video. Chrissy has been extremely open and honest about the struggles she has had throughout this pregnancy, being on bed rest and currently posting stories from the hospital due to some complications.
Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas were able to keep their pregnancy mostly under wraps due to the pandemic and not working or being out of the house much - though there were paparazzi photos from their walks around the neighborhood. They reportedly welcomed their daughter, Willa, in July, and over the weekend Sophie shared a few photos from her pregnancy on Instagram for the first time.
And it does NOT stop there!! Kristen Wiig reportedly welcomed twins via surrogate, Ciara and Russell Wilson had a baby boy, Iggy Azalea confirmed she now has a song, Rupert Grint and his partner Georgia Groome reportedly welcomed a daughter, Billie Lourd - who never even announced she was pregnant! - just announced the arrival of her son Kingston Fisher with her fiance Austen Rydell, Jude Law and his wife had their SIXTH child, and on top of ALL of that Mandy Moore and her husband Taylor Goldsmith just announced they are expecting a baby as well!! (SO EXCITING)
Obviously, this isn't even the entire round up because SO many people have announced births and pregnancies over the last couple of weeks, but I am so excited for them all. Motherhood is the most beautiful thing in the world - enjoy this time that you may have at home with your kids while you have it!!
