Maybe it's being a mom, maybe it's just part of being a human, but watching people speak about their experience with parenthood is always such a sweet moment. Especially when that person speaking about parenthood is someone like Ryan Reynolds, and he's talking about his life at home being a dad to three daughters.
Ryan and his wife Blake Lively keep their personal life pretty private, though they did share their two daughters (the youngest had not yet been born) with the world when Ryan got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
But now, since welcoming their third daughter earlier this year - and confirming her arrival on social media in October - Ryan has opened up to TODAY about life inside the Reynolds/Lively household.
When talking about life at home, Ryan said:
"It’s all women... I’d have it no other way. I love it, it's incredible... I’m doing my part to wipe men off the face of the Earth."
Of course, it wouldn't be a Ryan Reynolds interview without him keeping things a *little* sarcastic. So while we're sure he's not actually trying to wipe men off the face of the Earth, he is doing his part in bringing up strong, funny and powerful women!
Ryan also mentioned how it's harder to leave home for work now that the two oldest - James, 5, and Inez, 3 - know what it means when he leaves.
"It gets a lot harder when they ask, ‘Where are you going? When are you coming home? Why are you leaving me?’"
As much as I understand how hard it is to travel for work, it's also so sweet to think the girls are old enough to wonder and ask about where dad is going! Or where mom is going when I'm sure she travels for work as well.
What age will Aiza and Maxon start asking about where Michael and I are going when we have to travel and be away for work?! I don't know if I will be able to handle it.
