Ever since news broke that some famous parents were involved in this massive college admission scandal - where famous and rich parents had allegedly paid and faked their kids way into top schools such as USC - people have been super focused on Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannuli and their daughters Olivia Jade and Isabella Rose.
Lori and Mossimo were accused of paying over $500,000 for Olivia and her sister to get into USC, which also involved them faking that the girls were on the USC crew team in order to get accepted. And each of the girls had never rowed crew before, so...
Lori and Mossimo have plead NOT guilty to the charges against them, while Olivia has moved out of their home and is apparently very angry with her parents over the entire situation.
Olivia has not been able to return to USC since everything came out, plus she has gone silent on social media after having lost her Sephora makeup partnership. YIKES.
But how justified is it for Olivia to be this mad at her parents? And how much did she know about what her parents did to get her into the school?
Well. Apparently she knew everything, she just didn't realize it was illegal.
A source told Us Weekly: “Olivia fully knew what her parents did to get her into USC, but didn’t think there was anything wrong with it."
And despite having expressed having NO interest in school prior to the scandal coming out, Olivia now is hoping to be able to return to USC.
“She wants to come out looking like she’s changed, learned life lessons and is growing as a person, so she for sure wants people to think she is interested in her education."
I guess things will get interesting as her parents trial begins... it could take a long time though, and I'm not sure they're going to allow kids involved in the scandal return to school in the meantime.
