The Super Bowl is quickly approaching - as in, it's this Sunday and you only have a couple days left to plan out your big party and stock up on all the goods.
If your team or your significant other's team is either the Rams or the Patriots, it's possible there will be a bit of... celebrating... on Sunday night if they take the game.
You may not have ever realized (because I sure didn't) that babies who are conceived on the night of the big game is a "thing" - they're Super Bowl babies!
So when might we see a small spike of Rams or Patriots babies?
Let's do some math, shall we?
A full-term pregnancy lasts 40 weeks (roughly 10 months, I know, it's not 9 months like everyone tells you!!) So, a Super Bowl bun in the oven would be fully cooked and likely arrive on Oct. 27, 2019, Dr. Joseph Davis, a board-certified OB-GYN tells Elite Daily.
Now if you do happen to end up conceiving your baby on Sunday, which would be SO exciting, you may want to consider some subtle nods to the teams in this big game as baby names!
There are the classics: Jared, for Rams quarterback Jared Goff or Tom or Brady for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady . If it's a girl, you could consider Gisele for Tom's wife.
Other names to consider if you're a Rams fan: Sean for coach Sean McVay , Todd for Todd Gurley and Tyler (which can be a girl or boy name!) for Tyler Higbee .
Other names for Patriots fans: Julian for Julian Edelman , Rob for Rob Gronkowski , or Trent for Trent Brown .
The options are TRULY endless if you happen to want to name your little Super Bowl baby with a Super Bowl name.
I really hope I have a friend who ends up having their baby around the end of October of this year so I can ask them what they were up to the night that either the Rams or Patriots took home the Super Bowl win...
