Lupita Nyong'o had to overcome her fear of cats for her latest role in the third installment of post-apocalyptic horror film A Quiet Place: Day One.
Nyong’o stars alongside Joseph Quinn and Djimon Hounsou in the upcoming horror film and shared with Ryan Seacrest during an interview on June 18 that she wanted the role so badly she underwent "cat therapy."
"I had to face my fear because I really wanted to play Sam," she shared with Seacrest. "... They basically hired someone who raises cats and trains cats to come over to my house with a bunch of cats," Lupita added, revealing she at first just watched them move about their space from across the room.
