Lizzo had no idea she was going to win big at the 2023 Grammys last weekend! The "About Damn Time" singer shared with Ryan Seacrest she was just having a good time among her idols like Adele and Beyoncé when her name was called for Record of the Year.
"I didn't think I was going to be getting up there," she shared of her now-iconic speech. "We'd had so much wine. ... We were just having so much fun."
Lizzo added while she knew she always wanted to include the late Prince in her awards speeches, the rest wasn't planned.
"If I won an award I would dedicate it to Prince for a fact, but everything after that [I had no plan]."
