Did you notice a change to Instagram? Meta is ending a test version of Instagram after receiving backlash from celebs including the Kardashian family.
Instagram chief Adam Mosseri said on Thursday that it would roll back its recently released version of Instagram that predominantly featured algorithmically recommended videos to users on their home screens, making the app appear more like TikTok for users.
Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian were among the celebs to petition for Instagram to bring back Instagram, where users mainly like each other's photos.
“I’m glad we took a risk — if we’re not failing every once in a while, we’re not thinking big enough or bold enough,” Mosseri later explained. “But we definitely need to take a big step back and regroup.”
