Nicky Youre's hit single "Sunroof" went viral on TikTok with over 7 million videos using the summer anthem. Just prior to his booming music career, he was working a 9 to 5 at Dell but quit when his music began to go somewhere.
The singer and Orange County, California native talked to Ryan Seacrest on-air about how he transitioned from a job in computer sales to having worldwide success with "Sunroof."
"What did you say when you quit?" Seacrest asked about when he ended his career at Dell to focus on music full-time. "Well, I just, I told them, I was like 'guys, I have like a crazy song going on, I don't know if you've heard it' and they're like, 'oh we've heard it.'" Youre responded.
