We can always count on Kelly Ripa for keeping it real. The Live With Kelly and Ryan co-host joined Ryan Seacrest on-air on Thursday, July 7, and while talking about the current divorce rate, admitted the first year of marriage was the toughest.
"I found the first year [was the toughest]," Ripa, who is happily married to husband Mark Consuelos, shared. "You both feel, at least we felt like, we made a horrible mistake," she jokingly added. "At the end of the day, if you just give yourselves a breath and take it easy on each other ... We had very specific ways we had always done things … so when you blend your two habits often times they’re not compatible."
That said, the duo clearly worked things out and have become one of Hollywood's not only favorite but longest-lasting couples.
So would Ripa want her kids to live with someone before they tie the knot?
