It’s always an accomplishment to be able to get a job interview, but sometimes scheduling it is out of your control.
However, if you have the ability to schedule when you’re able to do go during their interview period, Ryan Seacrest shared on-air the time you should talk to interviewers.
If it’s possible to schedule your interview… you should:
GO LAST.
Find out when the interviews are happening and try and schedule yourself late in the day and try to be the last person. This process is called “recency bias.” Our brains are wired to give more value to recent information we learn or people we meet… therefore interviewers are most likely to remember you if you’re fresh on their mind.
The last person interviewed is hired 56% of the time!
