Time flies! It’s been 18 years since Ryan Seacrest took over for Rick Dees on 102.7 KIIS FM, joining the morning drive time lineup in February 2004.
Long-time morning show member, Nick Vestuto, who worked on the morning show team for 36 years, joined Ryan Seacrest on-air today to talk about Seacrest’s 18th year hosting the radio program.
He shared a funny story of when he had lunch with Seacrest in 2004 and comparing his potential time on the show with that of Rick Dees.
“I said I was with Rick [Dees] for 18 years,” Vestuto recounted about their lunch conversation. “And there was a long pause and you said to me, ‘I’m not gonna be here half that length. And here we are.”
