Channing Tatum makes his co-directorial debut in his new film, Dog.
Ryan Seacrest chatted with the Dog star and co-director about the film’s premise and his contribution to the film both on-camera and off, and how important it was to portray how meaningful a dog’s role is in someone’s life, especially in the military.
“These dogs and their handlers have very fascinating relationships,” Tatum told Seacrest on-air. “These dogs have a really fascinating way to sort of go right into the heart of these sort of super soldiers that are very stoic.”
The film follows Tatum who plays Army Ranger Briggs and his dog Lulu who go on the road trip of a lifetime to make it to a fellow soldier’s funeral on time.
The actor also talked about the upcoming third part to the popular franchise Magic Mike and what we can expect in its third part.
