Resumes can be tough to write when you’re searching for a job. You want to write enough but not too much. But experts shared the words that you should use to appeal to recruiters and words you should avoid to not turn off your future employers.
Ryan Seacrest shared the words you need to know to either put on your resume and keep off.
The words you should NOT use:
- ASSISTED
- CONTRIBUTED
- UTILIZED
The words you SHOULD use:
- EXECUTED
- ACHIEVED
- SPEARHEADED
The words to avoid are considered passive and weak, while the words you should use are considered POWER verbs.
