If your goal for 2022 is to eat better and get in shape, researchers have named the #1 diet for the year ahead the Mediterranean Diet.
Ryan Seacrest, who is a big fan of the Mediterranean Diet, shared on-air health experts looked at 40 different diets and ranked them in a bunch of different categories and the clear winner was the lifestyle change to healthy fats and fresh seafood.
The Mediterranean Diet puts an emphasis on fruits, vegetables, olive oil, whole grains, nuts and seafood. Not only was the diet ranked the healthiest, but also the easiest to follow and most heart-healthy!
