If you have a baby at home, anything and everything that can help, you'll take! Sisanie, who recently welcomed her third child, daughter Siveya, shared on-air in her new weekly segment #WhoaBabyWednesday that she can't live without the Baby Shusher.
The Baby Shusher is a sound machine that, according to the product's website, breaks a baby's crying spell by engaging his or her natural calming reflex. The rhythmic shush is like inside the womb. Shushing is one of five techniques used to soothe babies for centuries. It may seem counter-intuitive, but silence is not ideal for baby sleep. While inside the womb, babies are enveloped with sounds from their mother's body. As a result, most babies, especially newborns, respond positively to a consistent soothing sound.
