The 2021 Oscars were a night to remember - and one Hollywood, as well as fans, waited all year for. The award show was finally held safely in person after a pandemic-filled 2020 spent via Zoom and in masks.
Held at Los Angeles’ historic Union Station, the Oscars honored director Chloe Zhao's acclaimed road-trip drama Nomadland with best picture. The Father star Anthony Hopkins took home best actor, Daniel Kaluuya ("Judas and the Black Messiah") received the award for best-supporting actor and Yuh-jung Youn ("Minari") took home best-supporting actress.
Ryan Seacrest shared on-air he was particularly moved by Tyler Perry's speech. The actor was honored with the Oscars' Hersholt humanitarian award.
