Dr. Kate Balestrieri offered advice on-air after a caller shared her friend is struggling with anxiety and depression following quarantine and the pandemic.
In her private practice, Dr. Kate works with adults, individuals and couples, primarily around treating trauma, substance abuse and addiction, intimacy disorders, eating disorders and body image issues, bipolar disorder, Post-traumatic Stress disorder, depression, and anxiety. She also specializes in sexual health and wellness.
Dr. Kate shared it’s important to remember that the pandemic and quarantine “had an impact on each of us” and that as we “start to get back into the swing of things … it’s OK to not feel OK.”
