Ryan Seacrest checked in with CHOC Children’s patient Mia on-air on Tuesday, February 16. Mia and Seacrest first connected on-air a couple weeks ago after Mia thanked Seacrest for building Seacrest Studios in the hospitals to help keep patients like herself entertained.
Mia, who is 9, has been in and out of hospitals her entire life and recently checked into CHOC Children’s for a procedure on her brain.
“I just wanted to say thank you for doing everything for me,” Mia shared with Seacrest on-air, revealing she also passes the time through art.
“I draw. I sketch. I doodle,” she added. “I drew Ariana Grande, Post Malone.”
