Dating during the pandemic has been interesting to say the least. And with a new year, comes new trends! So what dating trends are we already seeing in 2021?
According to Bumble, look out for hardballing, astrolove and new dawn dating.
"Hardballing": Not wasting time with partners who are not serving you. This is also called “dating like a CEO" and we're here for it.
“Over the past year, almost 70% feel the pandemic has given them an abundance of time to focus on themselves and 43% shared they have more confidence to say what is and isn’t right for them in their dating life,” according to a Bumble release.
"Astrolove": Looking for love based on your zodiac sign. Bumble users who added their sign to their profile found their matches go up by 60%. Try it!
"New dawn dating": People who ended long-term relationships during the pandemic and are ready to get back out there. “They’re now single and ready to start dating again, but many are entirely new to dating apps and understandably anxious about dating right now,” Bumble notes.
