102.7 KIIS FM’s Patty Rodriguez is battling COVID-19 and was hit hard by the virus. Patty shared with Ryan Seacrest on-air on Wednesday, January 6, she’s lost 10 pounds and has been struggling daily with exhaustion and the temporary loss of her mental and physical self.
“Right now, I just feel very exhausted, a very weighted fatigue on me [and] nauseous,” Patty shared. “I get these hot flashes too. Just really bad hot flashes, but at the beginning, just really bad body aches and fever. … I think the first two nights my fever went to like 103 and I think I was hallucinating at one point.”
Patty, who is on day 11 now, added that she’s also suffered loss of appetite and has lost 10 pounds.
“Other than that, I’m just trying to get through it because the kids are showing symptoms now.”
Patty’s partner, Michael, has also tested positive but wasn’t hit as hard.
“His symptoms were very, very mild,” Patty explained. “Definitely not like me. It hit me hard. … This is real. It’s nuts. … I’ve never been this sick in my entire life.”
