Ally Brooke has come out on the other side. The Fifth Harmony alum shared with Ryan Seacrest on-air on Tuesday, November 3, why she decided to share her story via her candid new memoir and what she hopes fans will get from the book. The songstress is also bringing us some much needed holiday cheer with new Christmas track “Baby I’m Coming Home.”
In her memoir, Finding Your Harmony: Dream Big, Have Faith, and Achieve More Than You Can Imagine, Ally opens up about her journey to self-love and details the highs and lows of finding fame through Fifth Harmony as well as why she’s saving herself for marriage.
“This book was the perfect opportunity to be vulnerable and I struggle with that so much,” Ally shared with Seacrest, adding she hopes it does the same for fans. “[This book gave me the opportunity to tell] the reader that, ‘Hey, you should be empowered to do the same; whatever that is for you.’ That was such a gift. So as nerve-racking as that was, and some other things that were in there, it had a purpose and a meaning so that was awesome.”
Her new Christmas track, “Baby I’m Coming Home,” is also sparking a release for fans.
“I’m super excited,” Ally gushed of the new single. “I always wanted to have an original Christmas song … and I know we need a lot of love right now, a lot of joy, a lot of hope so I hope it gives that to you. … This song could not have come out at a more perfect time.”
