Long Island Medium Theresa Caputo has penned a book titled Good Mourning: Moving Through Everyday Losses with Wisdom from the Other Side and it couldn’t come at a better time. Caputo shared on-air with Ryan Seacrest she started writing the book years ago and it’s dropping fittingly amid the global pandemic.

“A lot of people have lost their loved ones not knowing what they were going through, what they were feeling,” Caputo shared with Seacrest. “For a soul to be able to come through and communicate and put all of our burdens and guilt to ease and to rest and say, ‘Listen, I don’t want you to carry this … know that my soul was at peace.’”

Caputo added that whether you’ve lost someone or not, you can connect to what she’s sharing in the book and the most important take away is “losing your will to endure.”

“I think a lot of people are struggling with that now and the thing about Good Mourning is … take what we’ve learned with this loss and get rid of anything else negative.”

So, what advice does she have for those who have tragically lost loved ones affected by COVID-19?

“The one thing spirit has always told me [is] when the soul leaves the physical body, they leave behind every and any disability and/or alignment and what we chose to do with their physical body is for us in the physical world so … they don’t take any of that pain or suffering with them.”

“Being able to hear messages and for a soul to be able to give us the peace and comfort in knowing that they’re OK and not suffering is the greatest gift,” Theresa concluded.
