Are Jaden Smith and Sofia Richie dating? Not so fast. The rapper Zoomed with Ryan Seacrest on Friday, September 10, and clarified the duo are just pals after photos of them frolicking in the ocean surfaced earlier this week.
“You know, I actually don’t look at the internet, so I didn’t see that,”Jaden shared with Seacrest. “But, me and Sophia have been friends for like 10 years. We’ve been going to the beach pretty consistently for 10 years too. But, yeah, we’re just homies and we love each other and it was fun.”
The well-deserved holiday weekend comes afterJaden recently dropped his third studio album CTV3: Cool Tape Volume 3. The album includes lead single “Cabin Fever” and “Falling For You” featuring pal Justin Bieber.
“I was definitely trying to take it into a different place for sure and just expand my music and my listeners you know what I mean?”Jaden shared. “And just kind of take it to a different place I haven’t been before and study more of music history and learn about instrumentation while I was working on the album so I just really wanted to take it to a different place.”
