BTS Give Seacrest a Wake-Up Call After Missing Late-Night Interview

BTS are in the Zoom! The K-pop group joined OAWRS’ Sisanie and Tanya Rad for a late-night interview and teased Ryan Seacrest for his early bedtime. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook also shared the inspiring message behind their record-shattering track “Dynamite.”

BTS dropped “Dynamite” — their first-ever English language track — on August 21 and made history after it became the best-ever 24-hour debut of a music video on YouTube with more than 100 million views.

“It’s very simple: the lyrics are all about the little things that make life really valuable and special,” RM shared. “We just wanted to give our fans like positive explosions and energy like ‘boom!’”

“‘Dynamite’ is about confidence and having fun,” the group added. “Sometimes in life we struggle. We all do. So ‘Dynamite’ we want to give people everywhere a message of hope.”

The K-pop group — who are 2020 nominees for Best Pop, Best K-pop, and Best Choreography at this weekends VMAs — will light up the awards show for the first time virtually with an exciting performance of the single.

Sisanie jokingly concluded the chat with the explanation that “this interview was passed Ryan Seacrest’s bedtime” and that’s why he was missing. The group then gave Seacrest a wake-up call. Watch the funny moment back in the full interview in the video above!
