Kate del Castillo joined Ryan Seacrest Via Zoom on-air to chat quarantine life and hit telenovela La Reina del Sur rolling over to Netflix.
The actress admitted that being home in quarantine has actually been nice, given the change. That said, filming for the next season of the hit show will be challenging given travel restrictions.
Based on the best-selling 2002 novel by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, the series follows Castillo as a young woman from Mexico who becomes the most powerful drug trafficker in southern Spain.
"With the third one it's going to be a little challenging because I don’t want to sacrifice in any way the story or the production having to travel everywhere with the pandemic so were going to have to wait so we can travel in a healthy way for all the crew," the actress dished to Seacrest.
