Sisanie Tries Cryotherapy For the First Time and OMG: Watch

Umm, BRRR! Sisanie tried celeb craze cryotherapy for the first at Encino’s Cryo-Glow in the latest episode of Off-Air With Sisanie and you have to watch how it all went down.

Cryotherapy is the use of extremely low temperatures to treat symptoms such as tissue damage, help decrease inflammation, increase cell rejuvenation, and improve skin tone and reduce signs of aging.

“It’s amazing for inflammation; it’s great for your skin,” Cryo-Glow explained to Sis before she took on the challenge. “It’s great for sleep; it’s good for your mood — it’s like when you workout and release all those endorphins, it’s similar — and you can also burn 800 calories in three minutes because your body goes into fight or flight mode.”

Sisanie, who admitted she was “really scared” to try the latest craze beloved by Mark Wahlberg, Tony Robins, and a bevy of other celebs, opted to go for only two minutes and at the easiest setting which is 166 degrees below zero.

“I’m not even going to lie right now,” Sis said before entering the chamber and choosing Calvin Harris for her music. “I don’t know if I can last the full three minutes so were doing two.”

At Cryo-Glow, there are levels of controlled temperature ranging from 165 to 225 below zero 😱

“It wasn’t bad — my body is like thawing right now — but I think could have done the three minutes,” Sisanie said after catching her breath and emerging from the chamber. “It went from like my legs to my arms and then it just started focusing in my core area.”
