Have you heard of those ASMR videos of people eating miscellaneous food items or cutting things like soap? The oddly satisfying videos are going viral online for their soothing (to some) sound effects and Ryan Seacrest, Sisanie and Tanya Rad created their own on-air on Tuesday, July 9.
Standing for "autonomous sensory meridian response," the term describes the tingly sensation people get when they watch certain things or hear certain sounds.
The most popular account on YouTube appears to be user SAS-ASMR who has amassed more than 7 million followers for videos of her eating things like mac and cheese, chicken and gravy, mochi ice cream and more.
After listening to SAS-ASMR’s videos on-air, Ryan and Tanya decided they "kind of like it" while Sisanie wasn’t entirely onboard with the crunchy and salvia-filled sounds.
The threesome then tried their own. Tanya and Sis ate almonds and Ryan opted for what was in his lunch box aka salad 😂😂😂
Watch back the LOL video above.
