Summer is officially around the corner and Sisanie is sharing her go-to kid-approved swimwear choices in the latest episode ofOff-Air With Sisanie in the video above.
After being mom-shamed for dressing daughter Aiza in an adorable baby bikini, Sisanie raised the question: Is it OK to dress kids in bikinis?!
“Aiza and Maxon were only like 2 months old when I put them in their first swimsuits and I got this little itty bitty cute bikini for Aiza … and I was so scared of the sun … so my husband and I bought a tent … just to make sure we were protected … and I posted a pic of Aiza in her bikini and … I got mommy-shamed,” Sis recalled. “… They were like, ‘She shouldn’t be wearing that bikini! First of all, she’s too young and baby girls should not wear bikinis.’ And I was like, ‘Relax, everybody! She’s not even in the sun. It was for the gram, it was for the cuteness.’”
Now that Sisanie’s kids are older — they turned 1 this past May — they’re running around more and will be harder to keep contained in the shade so Sisanie shared she’ll be dressing them in rash guards and swim trunks -- and a bikini still for Aiza!
