Rising pop band LANY got an assist from one of the most talented songwriters working, Julia Michaels, when she co-wrote their new single "Okay" with lead singer Paul Jason Klein.
Julia is also featured on the track, which wasn’t something they came up with after hours and hours pounding away...In fact, it happened almost instantly the very first time they tried writing together.
“He was going through a lot of stuff and so was I, and we both just sort of poured out all of our emotions to each other,” she tells Billboard. “And in like two hours, we had written this song together and now it’s out in the world and it’s really cool.”
