Rami Malek has had an incredible year, picking up a Best Actor Oscar for his starring role in Bohemian Rhapsody playing one of the most beloved frontmen of all time, Queen’s Freddie Mercury.
And while he shined playing a rock and roll hero, he will now get a chance to play a full-blown villain.
It’s just been confirmed Rami will be starring in Bond 25, playing James Bond’s primary nemesis.
Little else is known about Rami’s role, expect he will be extremely dangerous and armed with a dangerous new technology.
Daniel Craig will return as 007, actually for the last time, in this 25th installment of the franchise.
For the record Bond 25 is a working title, as the filmmakers aren’t quite ready to reveal the movie’s actual name.
It’s scheduled to hit theaters next April.
