Did You Realize Ed Sheeran Got Killed in 'Game of Thrones' Season Premiere?

Pretty much every creative thing Ed Sheeran’s ever done has been widely celebrated, except his quick cameo on Game of Thrones in the season 7 premiere.

In fact Ed got roasted on Twitter to the point where he temporarily deleted his account.

So in Sunday’s Season 8 Premiere, the show’s creators decided to have some fun and roast Ed's character as well, quite literally.

It was a moment even lots of hardcore Thrones fans missed, when Bronn the Cutthroat was with three ladies discussing a fierce battle that featured fire-breathing dragons from last season.

One of the ladies in passing said: "That boy Eddie came back with his face burned right off. He’s got no eyelids now."

And Ed certainly approves, as he’s said himself, he probably should have suffered such a horrendous fate given the nature of the show.

A new episode of Game of Thrones hits HBO on Sunday.
